A standout opportunity for a Multi Skilled Maintenance Engineer to work for an in house maintenance team for a commercial property by Kings Cross, London. Away from your generic every day building services maintenance roles, this exciting opening will offer a great salary along with many benefits that can t be matched from a maintenance provider.
Working on a 36 hour week, Monday to Friday, you will be responsible for planned and reactive maintenance across electrical, mechanical and HVAC associated systems along with remedial works and emergency response on site. This role is not your mundane PPM position, requiring engineers to be highly technical with the ability to fault find, diagnose and repair electrical, mechanical and HVAC associated systems in house.
The Multi Skilled Engineer should hold either Electrical or Mechanical qualifications City and Guilds / NVQ qualifications holding a good all round building services maintenance knowledge.
Duties
- PPMs & Reactive maintenance
- Single and Three Phase Power, Motors, Generators (on/off load tests), LV/HV switching, Shutdowns, Switchgear, Motors, Emergency Lighting, Fire Alarm Test, AHUs, FCUs, VAVs, Sprinkler Systems, Pumps, Belts, Bearings, Seals, BMS Operation
- Carry out isolation of plant and systems in accordance with safety requirements.
- Ensure corrective/repair works are carried out in accordance with regulations.
- Endorse safe working practices, quality standards conformity and best practice methods.
- Organising subcontractors
- Completing logbooks and RAMS
- Reports
- Permits to work
- Raise and close jobs on PDA's as necessary.
- City & Guilds / NVQ (or equivalent) qualification in Electrical Installations or Mechanical Engineering
- Ability to fault find, diagnose and repair electrical, mechanical and HVAC associated systems
- Building Services Maintenance experience
