Responsible for assisting teacher(s) in the preparation, instruction, and management of classroom activities and duties. Work under the supervision of a certified teacher.

• Attend staff development meetings and in-service workshops.
• Maintain professional behavior, appearance, and work ethic.
• Assist teacher(s) in preparing instructional materials, classroom displays, and instructional activities.
• Provide instructional activities to individual or small groups of students.
• Assist in supervising students, both inside and outside classroom, including cafeteria, bus duty, and playground.
• Assist in maintaining a neat and orderly classroom.
• Assist in inventory, care, and maintenance of equipment.

• Perform other related duties as required or assigned.
• High school diploma or general education degree (GED) and minimum of 60 college hours or pass Praxis exam.
