Adult Education Part-time Paraprofessional--Camden

Overview

The paraprofessional for the Adult Education Center in Camden will report directly to the Lead Teacher/Coordinator. This part‑time, grant‑funded position requires 15–20 hours per week. Continued funding depends on state funding and performance.

• Conduct intake, testing, and orientation with students
• Maintain student folders
• Assist teacher in the classroom (copies, grading homework, tests, etc.)
• Tutor students one‑on‑one as needed
• Maintain daily, weekly, or monthly attendance records
• Call students who are absent, keeping a log
• Help clean and straighten classroom
• Actively participate in recruitment and retention activities
• Perform other duties as assigned

• Minimum education requirement:
  High School diploma
