Provide students with appropriate learning activities and experiences designed to help them fulfill their potential for intellectual, emotional, physical, and social growth.
Duties and Responsibilities- Maintain professional behavior, appearance, and work ethic.
- Demonstrate commitment to academic achievement of all students.
- Establish an orderly classroom environment where students actively participate.
- Develop and implement lesson plans meeting district curriculum requirements.
- Prepare lessons that accommodate diverse learning styles.
- Plan and use instructional strategies, activities, materials, and equipment aligned with student needs.
- Teach district-approved curriculum based on state frameworks and standards.
- Assess student learning styles and use results to plan instruction.
- Collaborate with special education teachers to modify curriculum per IEPs.
- Work with staff to determine instructional goals and methods.
- Plan and supervise instructional assistants and volunteers.
- Use technology to enhance teaching and learning.
- Conduct ongoing assessments of student achievement through interim and formative measures.
- Assume responsibility for extracurricular activities as assigned.
- Be a positive role model and support the district’s mission.
- Manage student behavior per policies and handbook.
- Protect students, equipment, materials, and facilities.
- Assist in selection of instructional materials.
- Maintain open communication with parents and students about progress.
- Present information accurately and clearly.
- Participate in professional development activities.
- Comply with state, district, and school regulations.
- Compile and file required reports, records, and documents.
- Perform assigned non‑teaching duties.
- Develop classroom behavior and procedure rules and maintain order fairly.
- Attend staff meetings and serve on committees as required.
- Adhere to regulations of Arkansas Activities Association regarding player eligibility.
- Lead and participate with coaching staff in skill development of players.
- Communicate high expectations to all involved.
- Create a culture and climate of academic and athletic success.
- Assist in college recruiting process and boosters club relations.
- Perform other duties as assigned.

- Bachelor's degree from an accredited university.
- Valid Arkansas teaching certificate with required endorsements.
- Out‑of‑state certificate holders must show started reciprocity procedures.
- Pass preliminary criminal background and child maltreatment checks.
- Maintain professional conduct around students.
- Complete Science of Reading Awareness within 30 days of hire.
- Reasonable accommodations may be made for disabilities.
- Willing to take on teaching and coaching responsibilities.
- Experience preferred but not required.
- Indoor, temperature controlled.
- Low to moderate noise levels.
- Cognitively demanding; requires strong social and communication skills.
- Possibility of standing, walking, sitting.
