This on‑site position will focus on resolving nonconformance in supplied material, ensuring root cause determination and corrective actions are completed. The role is integral to solving problems on the nation’s most advanced defense systems, working closely with Operations, Quality, Program Management, and Engineering teams.
What You Will Do- Lead rapid resolution of supplier‑caused issues impacting the factory, communicating with quality functions and cross‑functional teams.
- Serve as the onsite interface for Raytheon factories, supporting factory tier meetings, layered process assessments, and non‑conforming material reviews.
- Analyze supplied material non‑conformance metrics and develop action plans to address top and systemic drivers.
- Investigate supplied material issues, ensuring accurate defect documentation, robust root‑cause analysis, and complete implementation of corrective solutions.
- Assist with quarantine, containment, and screening of suspect defective supplied hardware.
- Bachelor’s degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM).
- Minimum of five (5) years of experience in quality, operations, engineering, or related technical disciplines.
- Experience with Root Cause Corrective Action (RCCA) tools and processes.
- Experience with ISO 9001 and/or AS9100 Quality Management Systems.
- Experience with hardware inspection techniques and interpreting engineering drawings.
- Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government‑issued security clearance prior to start date; U.S. citizenship required.
- Proven success in building and maintaining relationships with suppliers, customers, and internal teams.
- Experience in DoD product and process oversight including requirements, build, integration, test, and delivery.
- High computer proficiency, including SAP/PRISM and Microsoft Tools (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).
- Certification in Six Sigma, Lean, or American Society for Quality (ASQ) such as CQE, CQM/OE, CSQE, CQA, or CRE.
Salary Range
: $86,800 – $165,200 USD, based on experience and qualifications.
