NDT​/NDI Test Engineer Stf

Job Summary

This position – NDT/NDI Test Engineer Staff – supports non‑destructive testing and method development for manufacturing, engineering, and field operations. The role involves designing, implementing, and calibrating NDT methods, evaluating failures, preparing specifications, and training inspectors.

• Design, develop, and implement NDT methods and inspection reference standards.
• Perform calibration, alignment checks, and equipment modifications.
• Conduct evaluations, failure analysis, and method analysis.
• Prepare and review NDT material/process specifications and technique sheets.
• Train NDT inspectors and develop course material.

• US citizen with the ability to obtain a Secret clearance.
• High school diploma or equivalent with additional specialized technical training.
• NAS 410 NDT certification.
• Knowledge of NDT equipment and methods.
• Experience in laboratory and process support testing.

• NAS 410 Level III certification and industry certifications in one or more recognized methods.
• Level II or III certification in NAS 410 Magnetic Particle, Dye Penetrant, and Ultrasonic testing.
• Knowledge of tensile and chemical testing.
• Working knowledge of SAP software.
