Description
You will be the NDT/NDI Test Engineer Staff for the NDT/NDI Engineering Team. Our team is responsible for non‑destructive testing support and method development.
What You Will Be DoingAs the NDT/NDI Test Engineer Staff you will be responsible for delivering expert NDT solutions across manufacturing, engineering, and field operations.
Your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
- Design, develop, and implement NDT methods and inspection reference standards.
- Perform calibration, alignment checks, and equipment modifications.
- Conduct evaluations, failure analysis, and method analysis.
- Prepare and review NDT material/process specifications and technique sheets.
- Train NDT inspectors and develop course material.

MUST BE A U.S. CITIZEN – This position is located at a facility that requires special access. The selected candidate must have the ability to obtain a Secret clearance.
Basic Qualifications- U.S. Citizen with ability to obtain Secret clearance.
- High School diploma, or equivalent experience/combined education, with additional specialized technical training.
- NAS 410 NDT certification.
- Knowledge of NDT equipment.
- Technical background in NDT methods and procedures.
- Experience in laboratory and process support testing.
- NAS 410 Level III certification.
- Industry certifications in one or more NDT methods such as Magnetic Particle, Dye Penetrant, Ultrasonic.
- Level II or III certification in NAS 410 Magnetic Particle, Dye Penetrant and Ultrasonic testing.
- Knowledge of tensile and chemical testing.
- Working knowledge of SAP software.
This position requires a government security clearance. Applicants must be a U.S. Citizen.

Ability to Work RemotelyOnsite Full‑time:
The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.
Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five‑day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position4×10 hour day, 3 days off per week.
