Manufacturing Engineer

* Description:

** You will be a Manufacturing Engineer on Third Shift for our PAC 3 program  Our team is responsible for designing and improving manufacturing processes to make production more reliable, efficient, and cost effective, and providing engineering support to the production floor

** What You Will Be Doing*
* As the Manufacturing Engineer you will be responsible for developing tooling and equipment designs, supporting the production floor, and driving process improvements

Your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

- Development of tooling and equipment designs from engineering hardware specifications and culminating in complete technical data packages fully defining the tooling / equipment and allowing fabrication of detailed components and assembly of the end item

- Design / documentation efforts to be accomplished IAW company standards utilizing Creo / Solid Works

- Provide engineering support to the production floor for issues that may surface in normal day to day integration processes by analyzing and using problem solving skills in a team environment in accordance with production rate requirements

- Collaborating with cross functional teams to identify and resolve production issues

- Developing and implementing new manufacturing processes and systems

* Basic Qualifications:

* - Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related discipline, or equivalent experience/combined education

- Ability to obtain DoD Secret Clearance, therefore, U S  Citizenship is required

- Knowledge of hand tools and machine tools and the ability to teach others how to use them

- Ability to work Third Shift

* - Proficient with MS Office suite

- Proficiency or experience with AutoCAD, CREO, or Solid Works

- Knowledgeable of hydraulic and pneumatic systems/equipment used in a manufacturing environment

- Knowledgeable of machine / tool mechanical design

- Knowledgeable of general manufacturing / integration processes

- Basic knowledge of Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing  GD&T  

- Knowledgeable of engineering materials

- Ability to identify and solve complex issues

- Ability to interpret complex engineering drawings

- Troubleshooting production issues using failure mode effects and analysis  FMEA , root cause analysis, and implementing corrective actions  RC/CA  

- Developing and maintaining Standard Operating Procedures  SOP , Work Instructions and Bill of Materials  BoM

** 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
