You will be a Senior Manufacturing Engineer on Third Shift for our PAC-3 program. Our team is responsible for designing and improving manufacturing processes to make production more reliable, efficient, and cost-effective, and providing engineering support to the production floor. What You Will Be Doing Your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
• Development of tooling and equipment designs from engineering hardware specifications and culminating in complete technical data packages fully defining the tooling / equipment and allowing fabrication of detailed components and assembly of the end item.
• Design / documentation efforts to be accomplished IAW company standards utilizing Creo / Solid Works.
• Provide engineering support to the production floor for issues that may surface in normal day to day integration processes by analyzing and using problem solving skills in a team environment in accordance with production rate requirements.
• Collaborating with cross-functional teams to identify and resolve production issues.
• Developing and implementing new manufacturing processes and systems. MUST BE A U.S. CITIZEN - This position is located at a facility that requires special access.

The selected candidate must be able to obtain a Secret clearance. A company-sponsored interim Secret clearance is required to start.

Basic Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related discipline, or equivalent experience/combined education.
• Ability to obtain DoD Secret Clearance, therefore, U.S. Citizenship is required.
• Ability to interpret complex engineering drawings.
• The ability to translate technical drawings and specifications into practical manufacturing instructions is essential.
• Basic knowledge of Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T).
• Knowledgeable of machine / tool mechanical design.
• Knowledgeable of general manufacturing / integration processes.
• Competent with mechanical manufacturing and mechanical assembly.
• Competent with bill of materials (BoMs) and Indentured Parts Lists (IPL).
• Ability to work Third Shift Desired

Skills:

• Proficient with MS Office suite.
• Proficiency or experience with AutoCAD, CREO, or Solid Works.
• Knowledgeable of hydraulic and pneumatic systems/equipment used in a Manufacturing Environment.
• Knowledgeable of engineering materials.
• Demonstrated effective interpersonal skills, including team building, collaboration, and developing enduring business relationships throughout all levels of the organization.
• Ability to identify and solve complex issues.
• Troubleshooting production issues using failure mode effects and analysis (FMEA), root cause analysis, and implementing corrective actions (RC/CA).
• Previous missile or rocket assembly experience. Security Clearance Statement:
