Basic Qualifications
- Bachelors degree in STEM or higher, or equivalent years of experience.
- Well versed in reading and interpreting drawings and standards.
- Experience performing floor support functions and making appropriate quality decisions.
- Knowledge of Quality systems, demonstrated use of standard problem solving, troubleshooting tools, and root cause analysis skills.
- Ability to work with and around explosives.
- Experienced in using various inspection measurement tools.
- Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office suite.
Lockheed Martin is seeking to hire a Program Quality Engineer Staff to support the THAAD program in Camden, AR.
What You Will Be DoingThe THAAD program is critical to the success of U.S. service women and men deployed throughout the world. Our mission is to rapidly and properly equip the U.S. government and its war fighters with the best possible systems and equipment anywhere in the world. Our operations utilize state‑of‑the‑art processes to produce and validate hardware for sophisticated missile systems.
The successful candidate will work as part of a cross‑functional team providing support to THAAD development and production programs and ensure a proactive, integrated team approach to quality and systems across the programs.
Your Responsibilities Will Include, But Are Not Limited To- Implement and maintain the required rhythms, processes, procedures, and culture to provide a fully compliant, integrated, and agile quality assurance function which builds quality into the product or transaction rather than attempting to inspect in quality.
- Support all functions with ongoing process improvements which drive unnecessary costs out of the business and is an integral part of the management team, ensuring quality is an essential component of decisions, schedules, and plans.
- Define and execute strategic plans and provide direction to THAAD operations functional quality personnel, act as quality liaison with local product management and cross‑functional team leaders, and interface with customers including on‑site DCMA.
- Develop and implement quality systems in support of site operations program execution while complying with AS9100 and other Quality Management Systems.
- Drive business improvements into current programs and functional areas while ensuring that effective preventive and corrective strategies are defined and executed.
- Support quality leadership team in implementing strategy and quality assessment processes resulting in timely delivery of compliant processes presented through the DD250 process.

- Bachelors degree in STEM or higher preferred.
- Lean Six Sigma project work.
- Knowledge of AS9100, AS9102, AS9103.
- Working knowledge of SAP.
- Knowledge of SPC, reliability.
- Knowledge of 8D and DMAIC process.
- Good communications and presentation skills.
