DescriptionYou will be the Manufacturing Engineer for the Missiles and Fire Control team, responsible for developing best‑in‑class products and solutions.
Responsibilities- Design and develop mechanical products and systems, including tooling and equipment, to support production efforts.
- Develop tooling and equipment designs from engineering hardware specifications into complete technical data packages for fabrication.
- Use Pro-Engineer or Solid Works for design and documentation per company standards.
- Provide engineering support to the production floor for issues and analyze problems in a team environment.
- Research, plan, design, and develop mechanical systems such as instruments, controls, robots, engines, machines, and thermal/hydraulic systems for production, transmission, measurement, and energy use.
- Apply research to planning, design, development, and testing of mechanical/electromechanical systems, instruments, controls, engines, and machines.
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related discipline.
- Ability to obtain DoD Secret Clearance; U.S. Citizenship required.
- Proficient with MS Office suite.
- Knowledgeable of machine/tool mechanical design and general manufacturing/integration processes.
- Experience with AutoCAD, Creo, or Solid Works.
- Knowledgeable of engineering materials.
- Ability to interpret complex engineering drawings.
- Basic knowledge of Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T).
This position requires a government security clearance:
Secret. U.S. Citizenship is required.
