Harris is seeking an Associate Tool Design Engineer to join our growing facility in Camden, Arkansas. In this role, the selected individual will design manufacturing tooling to produce solid rocket motors and warheads. This person will develop jigs, fixtures, lifting devices, and semi‑automated equipment to cast and assemble the final product.
- Design mechanical equipment using PTC Creo and Windchill
- Interface with production, program management and safety to develop requirements and tooling needs
- Define existing equipment problems, design repairs and modifications
- Obtain a U.S. security clearance
- To be eligible, applicants must be pursuing a Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Chemical Engineering or other related major or have completed their Bachelor’s degree within the last 12 months, regardless of age.
