Chemical Engineer
You will be a Chemical Engineer for our team in Camden, AR. Our team is responsible for implementing and optimizing chemical processes, including painting, coating, bonding, sealing, and corrosion mitigation, to ensure the quality and integrity of our products.
As a Chemical Engineer, you will be responsible for the development and optimization of chemical processes, analyzing root causes, and implementing corrective actions. Your responsibilities will include:
- Documentation and optimization of current and new chemical processes
- Root cause and corrective action analysis
- Knowledge of various coating processes, engineering materials, and general manufacturing processes
- Interpretation of engineering drawings and application of corrosion mitigation methods

Further Information About This Opportunity This position is in Camden. Discover more about our Camden, Arkansas location. MUST BE A U.S. CITIZEN - This position is located at a facility that requires special access. The selected candidate must have the ability to obtain a Secret clearance.
Basic Qualifications:
Bachelors degree from an accredited college in a related discipline. Knowledge of various coating processes. Knowledge of engineering materials. Ability to interpret engineering drawings. Knowledge of general manufacturing processes. Knowledge of corrosion mitigation methods. Strong oral and written communication skills. Experience in a production environment.
Desired
Skills:
Knowledge of CARC coating systems. Knowledge of thermal protective coating systems. Capable of working within an integrative, team environment. SAP or other ERP process knowledge. Proficient with MS Office Suite.
Security Clearance Statement:
This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration. Clearance Level: Secret.

Ability to Work Remotely: Onsite Full-time:
The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.
Work Schedules:
Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits. Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week.
