Employees work 12 hours a day, 3 days a week (Friday - Sunday from 6:00AM - 6:30PM)
We are seeking an Engineering Technician to join our growing dynamic team in Camden, AR. The Engineering Technician performs a variety of duties in the electronic, mechanical, electromechanical, and/or optical areas. Assists in the design, construction, test and check-out of test equipment. Constructs, troubleshoots, calibrates, adjusts, tests, diagnoses, and maintains equipment, components, devices, or systems. Works from schematics, operating or repair manuals, engineering drawings and written or verbal instructions.
May work with complex machines or computer systems. Operates related equipment; conducts tests and reports data in prescribed format. Performs calibration and alignment checks; makes adjustments, modifications, and replacements as directed; prepares prescribed compounds and solutions.
- Communicates with contacts typically within and outside the department on matters that involve obtaining or providing information requiring explanation or interpretation to understand and reach agreement.
- Ability to work under limited supervision.
- Interpret operational processes, practices, and procedures.
- May be responsible for entire projects or processes within job area.
- May be responsible for providing guidance, coaching, and training to other employees within job area.
- Works to achieve operational targets within job area which has moderate impact on the overall achievement of results for the team.
- Requires a High School Diploma or equivalent and a minimum of 6 years of prior relevant experience or 2 years post-Secondary/Associates Degree with a minimum of 2 years of prior related experience.
- Mixing and casting/propellant and explosives experience preferred
