Job Description

You will be the Operations Engineer Senior Staff for our dynamic Operations Team. Our team is responsible for driving efficiency and innovation in our production facilities, administrative processes, and equipment layouts to maximize utilization and productivity.

What You Will Be Doing

As the Operations Engineer Senior Staff, you will be responsible for analyzing workflows and processes to identify areas for improvement and implementing changes to optimize efficiency, reduce costs, and enhance productivity. You will lead studies and develop plans to modify processes, facilities, and equipment to drive continuous improvement. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Analyzing workflows and processes to identify areas for improvement
  • Developing and implementing plans to optimize efficiency, reduce costs, and enhance productivity
  • Conducting studies on cost control, inventory control, and process cycle times
  • Collaborating with facilities engineers to plan, design, and modify facilities and equipment
  • Leading multi-disciplined teams towards continuous improvement goals and objectives
  • Obtaining Lockheed Martin Green Belt Certification within 18 months

MUST BE A U.S. CITIZEN - This position is located at a facility that requires special access. The selected candidate must be able to obtain a Secret clearance.

Onsite Full-time:
The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.

Work Schedule Information

Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
