Job Description You will be the Manufacturing Tooling Design Engineer Sr for our team, joining the tool design team in the design and development of manufacturing tooling and equipment. Our team is responsible for creating cost-effective solutions for internal customers and promoting continuous improvement of design, fabrication, and implementation processes for tooling. • Interpreting complex drawing requirements and creating detailed drawing views of assemblies

- This position is located at a facility that requires special access. The selected candidate must be able to obtain a secret clearance. #mfcnews Researches, plans, designs and develops mechanical products and systems such as instruments, controls, robots, engines, machines and mechanical, thermal hydraulic or heat transfer systems for production, transmission, measurement, and use of energy. Applies research to the planning, design, development, and testing of mechanical and/or electromechanical systems, instruments, controls, engines, and/or machines.

Basic Qualifications
- Bachelors degree or equivalent experience/combined education
- Ability to interpret complex drawing requirements
- General manufacturing process knowledge
- Proficiency with ASME Y14.5 - Proficiency with PTC Creo or equivalent

- Experience with assembly modeling and creating detailed drawing views of assemblies

- Experience with machine/tooling/equipment setup, troubleshooting, and proofing
- This facility requires special access so all candidates must be US Citizens. Desired Skills
- Experience working in a manufacturing facility

- Experience with manufacturing tooling and equipment - PTC Windchill Data Management experience
- Familiarity with Lockheed Martin processes and procedures
- Experience creating Parametric Bill-Of-Materials
- Manufacturing Engineering Leadership experience
- Tool design experience
- Process line layout experience
- Electronics, pneumatics, and hydraulic experience / training
- Experience performing tolerance stacks
