Job Description *
* You will be a Manufacturing Engineer on Third Shift for our PAC-3 program. Our team is responsible for designing and improving manufacturing processes to make production more reliable, efficient, and cost-effective, and providing engineering support to the production floor.

** What You Will Be Doing*
* As the Manufacturing Engineer you will be responsible for developing tooling and equipment designs, supporting the production floor, and driving process improvements.

Your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

- Development of tooling and equipment designs from engineering hardware specifications and culminating in complete technical data packages fully defining the tooling / equipment and allowing fabrication of detailed components and assembly of the end item.

- Design / documentation efforts to be accomplished IAW company standards utilizing Creo / Solid Works.

- Provide engineering support to the production floor for issues that may surface in normal day to day integration processes by analyzing and using problem solving skills in a team environment in accordance with production rate requirements.

- Collaborating with cross-functional teams to identify and resolve production issues.

- Developing and implementing new manufacturing processes and systems.

MUST BE A U.S. CITIZEN - This position is located at a facility that requires special access. The selected candidate must be able to obtain a Secret clearance. A company-sponsored interim Secret clearance is required to start.

** Basic Qualifications*
* - Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related discipline, or equivalent experience/combined education.

- Ability to obtain DoD Secret Clearance, therefore, U.S. Citizenship is required.

- Knowledge of hand tools and machine tools and the ability to teach others how to use them.

- Ability to work Third Shift

** Desired Skills*
* - Proficient with MS Office suite.

- Proficiency or experience with AutoCAD, CREO, or Solid Works.

- Knowledgeable of hydraulic and pneumatic systems/equipment used in a manufacturing environment.

- Knowledgeable of machine / tool mechanical design.

- Knowledgeable of general manufacturing / integration processes.

- Basic knowledge of Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T).

- Knowledgeable of engineering materials.

- Ability to identify and solve complex issues.

- Ability to interpret complex engineering drawings.

- Troubleshooting production issues using failure mode effects and analysis (FMEA), root cause analysis, and implementing corrective actions (RC/CA).

- Developing and maintaining Standard Operating Procedures (SOP), Work Instructions and Bill of Materials (BoM).

** Pay Information*
* Full-Time Salary Range: $63400.00 - $117800.00
