Mechanical Engineer for the Pod Program Team
You will be a Mechanical Engineer for the Pod program team. Our team is responsible for designing and improving manufacturing processes to make production more reliable, efficient, and cost-effective, and providing engineering support to the production floor.
Basic Qualifications- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience/combined education
- Ability to interpret complex engineering drawings and detailed specifications
- Ability to create statement of work for tooling based on requirements
- Ability to work independently with limited oversight
- Ability to create and maintain work instructions
- Demonstrated organizational skills with attention to detail to create high-quality work products
- Experience setting up a production line
- Basic knowledge of Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (ASME/ANSI Y14.5)
- Proficiency with MS Office software suite
- Proficiency or experience with AutoCAD, PTC Creo, or Solid Works 3D CAD software
- Knowledgeable of hydraulic and pneumatic systems used in a manufacturing environment
- Knowledgeable of tool design, fabrication, and implementation
- Knowledgeable of engineering materials
