Job Description Develops, administers and implements environmental programs in accordance with governmental requirements. Monitors pollution prevention activities, compliance and auditing efforts. Conducts studies and prepares environmental impact reports for new construction projects, plant processes and permit changes. Reviews and analyzes environmental documentation issued by the federal EPA, state and local regulatory agencies. Determines impact on company operations and publishes compliance strategies and requirements.

Evaluates proposed regulations to determine financial, industrial, public and environmental impact. Interacts with federal, state, and local regulators to resolve compliance issues; establishes permit requirements and assists in EPA, state and local regulatory audits. Represents company in government and industry rule-making activities.

You will be the Environmental Engineer Sr for Lockheed Martin Missiles & Fire Control in Camden, AR. Our team is responsible for driving site‑wide environmental compliance, developing awareness programs, and ensuring adherence to Air, RCRA Hazardous Waste, and NPDES Stormwater regulations.

What You Will Be Doing As the Environmental Engineer Sr, you will be responsible for driving environmental compliance efforts and enhancing essential programs across the site.

Your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

Implementing policies and procedures to ensure environmental compliance.

Developing programs to increase employee awareness and knowledge of compliance policies.

Working closely with various stakeholders to evaluate compliance, and to ensure that our practices meet the highest standards.

Supporting a variety of program activities within the ESH organization, including but not limited to Air Program compliance, RCRA Hazardous Waste compliance, and NPDES Stormwater compliance.

MUST BE A U.S. CITIZEN - This position is located at a facility that requires special access. The selected candidate must be able to obtain a Secret clearance.

Basic Qualifications
• Bachelors degree
• Experience with Environmental regulatory monitoring and compliance
• Previous competent experience with environmental laws and standards (such as Air, Water, RCRA Hazardous Waste, & Stormwater)
• Must be able to create and update company policies and procedures related to environmental compliance
• Ability to collect, create, and analyze data
• Experience with training employees on environmental regulations and best practices
• Experience reporting to and interfacing with regulatory agencies
• Ability to interpret, apply, audit, and communicate (both orally and in writing) regulatory compliance requirements, across all levels of the organization
• Must be self-driven and able to plan and execute work with limited direct supervision from senior management and/or peers
• Ability to obtain and maintain a Secret security clearance, which requires U.S. citizenship

Desired Skills
• Bachelors degree from an accredited college in a related discipline, or equivalent experience/combined education, with 5 years of professional experience; or 3 years of professional experience with a related Masters degree. Considered career, or journey, level
