Harris Technologies is seeking an experience Senior Quality Manager to lead quality assurance operations and drive excellence across our defense programs in Camden, AR
. This strategic leadership role is responsible for ensuring the highest standards of quality, compliance, and customer satisfaction while managing quality teams and fostering a culture of continuous improvement. The Senior Quality Manager will serve as a key liaison between customers, regulatory agencies, and internal stakeholders to maintain L3

The Senior Quality Manager provides executive-level oversight of quality management systems, processes, and personnel across assigned business units or programs. This role requires a seasoned quality professional who can balance strategic planning with hands-on problem-solving in a fast-paced aerospace and defense environment.

In this capacity, you will direct all aspects of quality assurance including manufacturing quality, inspection operations, and quality engineering. You will be accountable for maintaining AS9100 and ISO 9001 certifications, ensuring compliance with FAA and DoD regulations, and meeting contractual quality requirements for complex defense systems and aerospace products.

The ideal candidate will demonstrate proven expertise in leading cross-functional teams, managing customer quality relationships, and implementing data-driven quality improvement initiatives. You will work closely with Program Management, Engineering, Operations, and Supply Chain leadership to embed quality throughout the product lifecycle—from design and development through production, delivery, and field support.

This position demands strong technical knowledge of aerospace/defense manufacturing processes, exceptional leadership skills, and the ability to influence at all organizational levels. You will be expected to drive cultural change, mentor quality professionals, and establish L3

Essential Functions
  • Quality Leadership & Management
    • Direct and manage quality engineering staff, inspectors, and other quality personnel to achieve organizational quality objectives.
    • Develop and execute strategic quality plans aligned with business unit goals and customer requirements.
    • Establish quality performance metrics, KPIs, and dashboards; conduct regular performance reviews with leadership.
    • Lead workforce development initiatives including training, mentoring, and succession planning for quality personnel.
    • Manage quality department budget, resources, and capital equipment requirements.
  • Quality System Development & Compliance
    • Design, implement, and maintain Quality Management System (QMS) in accordance with AS9100, ISO 9001, and customer-specific requirements.
    • Ensure compliance with FAA, DoD, NASA, ITAR, and other applicable aerospace and defense regulations.
    • Oversee document control systems to ensure proper management, revision control, and retention of quality records, specifications, procedures, and work instructions.
