Job Overview
You will be the Manufacturing Tooling Design Engineer Sr for our team, joining the tool design team in the design and development of manufacturing tooling and equipment. Our team is responsible for creating cost‑effective solutions for internal customers and promoting continuous improvement of design, fabrication, and implementation processes for tooling.
Responsibilities- Design and development of manufacturing tooling and equipment.
- Managing priorities and ensuring effective communication among the design team and internal customers.
- Applying knowledge of manufacturing processes to develop cost‑effective solutions for internal customers.
- Interpreting complex drawing requirements and creating detailed drawing views of assemblies.
- Setting up, troubleshooting, and proofing machine/tooling/equipment.
- Bachelors degree or equivalent experience/combined education.
- Ability to interpret complex drawing requirements.
- General manufacturing process knowledge.
- Proficiency with ASME Y14.5.
- Proficiency with PTC Creo or equivalent.
- Experience with assembly modeling and creating detailed drawing views of assemblies.
- Experience with machine/tooling/equipment setup, troubleshooting, and proofing.
- All candidates must be U.S. citizens.
- Experience working in a manufacturing facility.
- Experience with manufacturing tooling and equipment.
- PTC Windchill Data Management experience.
- Familiarity with Lockheed Martin processes and procedures.
- Experience creating parametric bill‑of‑materials.
- Manufacturing engineering leadership experience.
- Tool design experience.
- Process line layout experience.
- Electronics, pneumatics, and hydraulic experience/training.
- Experience performing tolerance stacks.
- Experience reviewing designs and promoting design for manufacturability.
This position requires a secret clearance. The selected candidate must be a U.S. citizen and able to obtain a secret clearance.
LocationThis position is located in Camden, Arkansas.
Work ScheduleThe schedule for this position is 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week. Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules, including standard 40 hours over a five‑day work week and condensed schedules.
Working ConditionsThe work will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.
