Production Assembly Technician

Raytheon-Rafael Area Protection Systems (R2S) Joint Venture (JV) is seeking a proven, high-performing Production Assembly Technician to support our dynamic, growing team. The role involves final assembly of energetic sections building large-scale missiles. Candidates must be mechanically inclined, detail-oriented, safety-conscious, and able to work with explosive items onsite.

• Perform assembly and checkout of air defense weapon systems.
• Handle warheads, pyrotechnic devices, and complete air defense weapons systems.
• Work with computer systems and applications.
• Perform hardware movement in factory.
• Follow all documented processes and procedures, ensuring proper material handling.
• Willingness to work with explosive items.
• Operate pneumatic and manual tools.
• Use manual torque tools.
• Follow detailed work instructions to ensure hardware conformance.
• Support and champion Lean Manufacturing in all processes and areas of responsibility.
• Participate in meetings to acquire knowledge necessary to assist in the continuance of production operations.
• Provide work assignments and instruction to team member operators as needed.
• Provide leadership to other team members during completion of assigned tasks.
• Perform all other position-related duties as assigned or requested.

• High School Diploma or equivalent (GED).
• Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government‑issued security clearance. U.S. citizenship required.

• Experience in assembly or related field.
• Experience operating forklift, walker stacker, pallet jack, and other material handling equipment.
• Experience loading and unloading materials year‑round.
• Two (2) years' experience with a class "A" Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with vehicle and hazardous material endorsement.
• Physical warehousing and inventory control experience.
• DoD SECRET or higher security clearance.
• Hazmat Certification with Hazmat Endorsement.
• Hazmat Waste Generator certification.
• Forklift Operator certification.
• Material Handling Equipment (MHE) certification.

Work Location: Camden, Arkansas (relocation support available)

Travel: 0–5% mainly within the United States.
