Harris Technologies is seeking a talented and motivated Senior Associate, Manufacturing Engineering with a focus on Manufacturing Planning to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in manufacturing processes and will be responsible for planning and optimizing our manufacturing processes and operations. You will play a crucial role in ensuring our production processes are efficient, cost‑effective, and aligned with industry standards.
Functions
- Develop and maintain detailed manufacturing plans to meet production schedules and goals.
- Collaborate with design and production teams to ensure manufacturability of new products.
- Analyze production processes to identify and implement improvements for efficiency, cost reduction, and quality enhancement.
- Create and maintain work instructions, process documentation, and standard operating procedures.
- Utilize Lean Manufacturing principles to streamline processes and eliminate waste.
- Provide technical support and guidance to production teams, ensuring adherence to manufacturing plans.
- Monitor and analyze production data to optimize resource allocation and workflow.
- Bachelor’s Degree and a minimum of 2 years of prior related experience.
- Graduate Degree or equivalent with 0 to 2 years of prior related experience.
- In lieu of a degree, a minimum of 6 years of prior related experience.
- Experience with Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma methodologies.
- Internship or co‑op experience in a manufacturing environment.
- Eagerness to learn and grow within the field of manufacturing engineering.
- Basic knowledge of manufacturing processes, equipment, and systems.
- Familiarity with CAD software and manufacturing planning tools (e.g., ERP systems).
- Strong problem‑solving and analytical skills.
- Good communication and interpersonal abilities.
