Production Worker I Job Description
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Perform general tasks and daily assembly operations for a manufacturing operation. Flexibility and capability to adapt quickly to changing job assignments/cross training. Must foster safe working habits. Must be available to work weekday or weekend shift (as defined). Must have the ability to coordinate and work well with peers and supervision. Perform other duties as requested, directed, or assigned.
Education and Experience:
High school diploma or equivalency required. Job Knowledge.
Skills and Abilities:
Ability to perform work with moderate supervision. Ability to read and follow written Standard Operating Procedures. Ability to clearly communicate in writing and/or verbal communication and follow verbal instructions. Ability to pay attention to details. Knowledge of basic mathematical skills. As the job requires working with explosives, strict adherence to safety policies is required. Training Requirements:
General Safety Standard Operating Procedures - Specific to job and/or program. Amenable to additional training and/or instruction.
Physical Job Demands:
Light to heavy physical effort required. Some lifting required. Continuous mental and visual attention required. Job may be performed while sitting or standing for extended periods of time (10+ hrs/day less breaks).
Subject to random drug and alcohol testing under DOD regulations.
Occasional overtime may be required.
HOURS:
Friday-Sunday 6am - 6pm
Starting Pay: 18.33hr
