Harris Technologies Company is seeking a Machinist C to join our growing facility in Camden, Arkansas. This position is responsible for planning layout, setup, operating and making tool adjustments for a variety of major conventional or automatic machines. Works from blueprints, process sheets and sketches to perform production tasks, which may include cutting and shaping metal to precision dimensions. Checks and inspects and builds machining operations against specified tolerances.

May include work with fabrication, sheet metal operations, or machine hardware and assemblies. May also make recommendations concerning use of or improvement upon materials and design.

• Fabricates parts per work instructions, drawings and specifications using required machine tools.
• Inspects parts per work instruction and drawing requirements.
• Operates machine tools and may machine energetic materials remotely.
• May need to work weekends and off‑hour shifts to maintain schedule.
• Uses, adjusts, cleans and stores the tools, machinery and equipment used.
• Keeps records and reports of equipment use.
• May assist in estimating time and materials required to complete an assignment.
• Performs other related duties as assigned.

• High School Diploma or equivalent with a minimum of 6 years of prior relevant experience, or 2 years post‑secondary/Associate’s Degree with a minimum of 2 years of prior related experience.

• Associate’s degree in Machine Tool Technology a plus.
• Manual/CNC experience preferred.
• Familiarity with machine tools, equipment, shop procedures and principles and properties desired.
• Knowledge of basic mathematical principles to solve problems preferred.
• Ability to work in a team environment and relate to all levels of employees desired.
• Valid driver’s license preferred.
• Ability to read and understand blueprints preferred.
• Ability to work flexible schedule desired.
