Registered Nurse - Medical Surgical

Job Description

Job Summary:

Provides comprehensive nursing care to medical-surgical patients during night shifts, ensuring patient safety and comfort while adhering to established protocols.

This role offers flexibility for first-time travelers and requires clinical expertise in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:

• Administer medications and monitor patient vital signs across a 12-hour night shift.
• Collaborate with healthcare team to develop and update patient care plans.
• Document patient assessments and interventions accurately in the Med Host system.
• Respond promptly to patient needs, including emergencies and routine care.
• Maintain compliance with all travel and clinical standards, including Tier1 Travel Compliance.

Qualifications:

• Hold a valid RN license in the state of practice.
• Possess at least 2 years of medical-surgical nursing experience.
• Obtain and maintain current BLS and ACLS certifications.
• Demonstrate previous charge nurse experience (preferred).
• Able to work 3 consecutive 12-hour night shifts with a flexible schedule for holidays as needed.
