What You Will Do- Verify product and process compliance with contractual, technical, industry, AS9100 QMS requirements and internal policies.
- Generate and publish Cost of Poor Quality (COPQ) metrics regularly.
- Facilitate and lead cross‑functional teams in failure analysis, root cause and corrective action (RCCA) investigations, including identification of non-conformances, provision of solutions, and tracking issues to closure.
- Ensure identification, physical control, and disposition of non-conforming material and facilitate Material Review Board (MRB) when necessary.
- Support work instruction development and maintenance activities including review, testing, auditing processes, and configuration management.
- Develop and maintain inspection instructions that meet technical data package requirements and production needs.
- Interface regularly with DCMA and Navy Technical Representatives.
- Participate in daily status meetings with factory support, management, hourly employees, and internal stakeholders to manage issues.
- Conduct weekly meetings to reduce cost of poor quality and facilitate timely red rack (out of flow) dispositions.
- Bachelor’s degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM).
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in Quality, Operations, Engineering, or related discipline.
- Experience supporting design and/or manufacturing process and engineering principles.
- Manufacturing process experience in one of the following: assembly, inspection, or test.
- Requirement to obtain interim U.S. government‑issued security clearance; U.S. citizenship required.
- Ability to obtain and maintain ATF clearance.
- Existing DoD Secret Clearance.
- Experience with ISO 9001 and/or AS9100 QMS.
- Experience with AS9102 First Article Inspection Requirements.
- Strong interpersonal skills, negotiation, conflict resolution, and stakeholder collaboration.
- Experience leading cross‑functional audit and improvement initiatives.
- Experience with AS9145 APQP and PPAP.
- Six Sigma or ASQ certification.
- Data analysis skills and use of actionable metrics.
Compensation: $68,900 – $131,100 USD, based on experience.

Security Clearance: Intermittent U.S. government‑issued security clearance required prior to start;
