Job Description

As a Security Officer - Access Control Patrol Driver in Camden, AR
, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Aero/Defense, and more. As an unarmed Patrol Officer with Allied Universal at an aero and defense location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, conduct routine rounds, and remain visible to help reduce security-related incidents. You will provide clear communication, strong customer service, and timely reporting while supporting a reliable team that acts with integrity.

This is a driving post and requires a valid driver license.

What You7ll Do
  • Provide customer service to our clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies and when appropriate, emergency response activities at an aerospace and defense location.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols of interior areas, exterior grounds, parking areas and perimeter points to help deter unwanted activity and identify maintenance and/or operational concerns.
  • Control access at designated entry points by checking identification, verifying authorization, issuing visitor credentials when required and directing guests and vendors to the proper destination.
  • Monitor alarms, cameras and other site systems as assigned, and report irregular conditions according to post orders.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including providing initial notifications and coordinating with site contacts and/or emergency services as directed.
  • Complete shift activity logs, incident reports and other documentation in a timely manner, using clear and accurate details.
  • Enforce site-specific rules related to restricted areas, prohibited items, photography limitations and/or controlled materials by communicating expectations and escalating concerns through the chain of command.
  • Support emergency procedures such as evacuations, shelter-in-place and accountability actions when directed, and assist with crowd and/or traffic control during drills or unplanned events.
  • Conduct patrol checks of doors, gates, fences and other physical barriers, and report unsecured openings, forced entry indicators and/or damaged equipment.
  • Work collaboratively with Allied Universal leadership and site personnel by following post orders, participating in briefings and communicating status updates during the shift.
Minimum Requirements
  • A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
