Job DescriptionAs a Security Guard Armed Patrol with Active Clearance in CAMDEN, AR
, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Aero/Defense, and more. Join Allied Universal as an armed patrol officer at a dynamic aerospace and defense location, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, remain visible to help discourage security-related incidents, and deliver outstanding customer service and communication. Pay Rate: $21.12 / Hour
Job Schedule: Daytime Tue 05:00 AM – 05:00 PM, Wed 05:00 AM – 05:00 PM, Thur 05:00 AM – 05:00 PM
What You’ll Do- Provide customer service to site personnel and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, location-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities appropriate to an armed post at a defense-related location.
- Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and reporting concerns through established communication channels.
- Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout buildings, restricted areas, and perimeter zones to help identify unusual activity, unauthorized access, and/or security-related concerns.
- Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials and/or access permissions, and help to deter unauthorized movement of people, vehicles, and materials within the location.
- Support incident response by coordinating with site contacts, public emergency responders, and/or Allied Universal leadership while following post orders and use of force guidelines.
- Possess an armed guard card/license.
- Possess an active DoD Secret Clearance.
- Be at least 21 years of age.
- Pepper spray certification is preferred.
- Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Participate in industry-specific security-related training programs.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
