We are seeking a Facilities Technician D (Maintenance) in Camden, Arkansas, to perform scheduled and unscheduled maintenance tasks following manufacturer publications, blueprints, and schematics. The candidate must be familiar with OSHA and NEC standards and capable of understanding and working on all production and facility equipment. Responsibilities include maintaining facilities and equipment, following work procedures, and performing general maintenance.
Essential Functions- Production machinery upkeep/repair/maintenance, general welding and millwright activities.
- Install new equipment.
- Conduct preventative maintenance, predictive maintenance, electro‐mechanical and mechanical work.
- Perform boiler maintenance: work with, troubleshoot, monitor and repair boilers.
- General shop upkeep, cleaning, and/or organizing. Provide coaching & guidance to other technicians.
- Perform preventative maintenance, site surveys, replacement, and modifications as needed or requested by customers.
- Prepare for on‑site installation and repairs by examining building layout, anticipating difficulties, gathering materials and coordinating on‑site work, as necessary.
- Inspect vehicles by checking vehicle condition and literature supplies.
- Maintain vehicles by keeping records of service manuals, scheduling, and completing repairs and maintenance service.
- Maintain tools and equipment by inspecting for signs of wear.
- Document work by completing paperwork on each job and maintaining files.
- Represent company by serving as a direct customer contact.
- Determine parts to order for repairs and the timeliness of need.
- Keep current on all manufacturers’ products concerning installation, operation, maintenance, service, and repair.
- Provide technical support to customers.
- Flexibility to work overtime/weekends, as required.
- High School Diploma or equivalent and a minimum of 8 years of prior relevant maintenance experience, or 2 years post‑secondary/Associate’s Degree with a minimum of 4 years of prior related maintenance experience.
- Valid state‑issued Driver’s License.
- Knowledge and understanding of service and installation processes of industrial equipment.
- Respirator and breathing air device experience and work on fire/rescue teams qualified.
- Maintenance certification or training from a college or trade school is a plus.
- Experience or training in Mechanical, HVAC, Boiler, and/or Electrical. State license in any of these fields is a plus.
