This posting is for a full-time Biology teaching position at Caesar Rodney High School. Individuals who are eligible for or possess a Secondary Science Teacher

• Applicant must meet State of Delaware certification requirements for Secondary Science Teacher
  - Biology. Successful candidates must provide evidence of successful PRAXIS II scores or a valid out-of-state teaching license.
• Out-of-state candidates: an educator applying for a license in Delaware with less than 1 year of experience will be placed on an Initial License. Applicants with one completed year of experience but less than 4 years will receive an Initial License. The State may recognize standard certificates from other states as a means of eligibility.

In accordance with the State of Delaware and local salary schedules, salary is based on experience and degree. Benefits package included.

• Provide official transcripts, an updated resume, and three (3) letters of recommendation.
• All persons employed by the Caesar Rodney School District must submit a criminal background check and a tuberculosis test.
• If offered employment, provide proper identification (Social Security Card and Driver's License), documentation of eligibility for employment in the U.S.A., completion of an I-9 form, and completion of paperwork for the Delaware Child Protection Registry.
