As the General Market Manager, you’ll be the driving force behind our market’s success. Here’s what your day-to-day will look like:

• Inventory & Ordering
  :
  Keep our shelves stocked and our kitchen humming by managing orders for our Produce department and Deli/Pizza Kitchen. You’ll ensure freshness while minimizing waste.
• Team Leadership
  :
  Lead a dedicated team by scheduling, motivating, and fostering a positive work environment. You’ll be the main point of communication for employees, creating a collaborative and efficient atmosphere.
• Vendor Management
  :
  Build and maintain strong relationships with local and regional vendors to ensure timely deliveries and fair pricing.
• Operations & Pricing
  :
  Monitor market trends and margins, making accurate price adjustments across the store.
• Tech & Troubleshooting
  :
  Be the go-to person for resolving register/POS issues, updates, and minor technical challenges.

We need someone who’s not just experienced but also passionate about running a thriving local market. Here’s what we’re looking for:

• Experience
  :
  At least 1 year of proven experience in retail management, grocery, or food service/hospitality management is highly preferred.
• Reliability & Availability
  :
  You’re dependable, punctual, and flexible enough to manage a busy market, including weekends and holidays as needed.
• Communication Skills
  :
  You’re a people person who can motivate staff, build vendor relationships, and deliver exceptional customer service.
• Problem-Solving Skills
  :
  Tech‑savvy and adaptable, you can handle POS glitches and shifting priorities with ease.
