Role
Clinical Reimbursement Coordinator (RN or LPN with MDS experience) responsible for managing Medicare/Medicaid case-mix documentation, completing the MDS assessment, and reviewing care plans to ensure compliance and maximize reimbursement.
Responsibilities- Manage and track case-mix documents for appropriate reimbursement.
- Conduct concurrent MDS reviews to optimize RUG categories.
- Integrate information from nursing, dietary, social services, and physicians to ensure accurate reimbursement.
- Review care plans considering physical, cognitive, and social factors of residents.
- Graduate of an accredited Nursing School with current RN licensure or LPN with MDS experience.
- Minimum of one year in long-term care nursing.
