Senior Accountant

LHH is working with a growing organization in Burlington County, NJ, that is seeking a Senior Accountant to join its corporate accounting and financial reporting team. This is an outstanding opportunity for a CPA with a strong public accounting foundation, preferably from a Big 4 firm, who has hands-on experience with SEC reporting and is looking for a clearly defined path to Accounting Manager.

This highly visible role will partner closely with accounting leadership and play a critical role in the preparation of quarterly and annual SEC filings, technical accounting initiatives, internal controls, and financial reporting processes. • Assist in the preparation and review of SEC filings, including Forms 10-Q, 10-K, and other required disclosures
• Support the monthly, quarterly, and annual close process, ensuring accuracy and compliance with US GAAP
• Participate in the preparation of financial statements, footnotes, and management reporting packages
• Collaborate with external auditors and assist with year-end audit activities
• Support the company's SOX compliance program, including documentation, testing, and remediation efforts
• Research and document technical accounting issues and new accounting pronouncements
• Prepare account reconciliations, balance sheet analyses, and variance explanations
• Assist with the implementation and enhancement of accounting policies, procedures, and internal controls
• Partner cross-functionally with Finance, FP&A, Tax, Treasury, and operational teams
• Identify opportunities for process improvements and increased efficiencies within the accounting function

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting required
• Active CPA preferred
• 3-7+ years of progressive accounting experience
• Big 4 public accounting experience strongly preferred
• Experience with SEC reporting, including preparation of Forms 10-Q and 10-K
• Strong understanding of US GAAP and financial reporting requirements
• Experience with SOX compliance and internal controls
• Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Advanced Excel skills required

$85,000-$95,000
