Position: Administrative Assistant (HYBRID After 90 Days)

Administrative Assistant

Large, established firm on the Waterfront in Camden needs a strong Administrative Assistant! Temp to Hire $26-$30./hr

Responsible for providing support to the AE Service Teams. Handle projects, clerical assignments, administrative and data entry duties as directed.

Principal Responsibilities
  • Process policies, certificates, endorsement requests, correspondence, filing, faxes, copying, invoicing, and other administrative support as needed for the AE Service Teams.
  • Prepare certificates and Auto .
  • Enter data and ensure accuracy of data input into Agency Management System (Sagitta).
  • Enter data into Document Management System (Work Smart).
  • Operate office equipment.
  • Set-up and maintain electronic files that conform to company standards.
  • Resolve routine issues and use sound judgement in referring more complex issues to the Service Team.
  • Create diaries in Sagitta and Work Smart for account specific workflows and service plans, as directed.
  • Assist with other administrative support duties as needed.
  • Answer, direct and/or handle phone calls, as applicable.
  • Open, sort and distribute mail, as applicable.
Other Functions
  • Adhere to Company Policies, Procedures, Processes and Guidelines.
  • Other duties as assigned.
Requirements
  • College degree preferred.
  • Previous experience in an insurance or office environment.
  • Ability to operate office equipment (fax, copier, etc.).
  • Proficiency required on Microsoft products;
    Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Exceptional organizational and customer service skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal and verbal and written communication skills.
  • Self starter, flexible and able to multi-task with minimal supervision.
