Summary:
Rutgers University-Camden is seeking a part-time Clerical Assistant for Access and Pathways department within Rutgers University-Camden Division of Impact Community Engagement. This position provides general administrative and clerical support to the Access and Pathways team. Responsibilities include assisting with the collection, entry, organization, and maintenance of departmental information and records; coordinating routine onboarding paperwork and related administrative processes; assisting with procurement documentation, purchase requests, and vendor-related processes;
and providing general office support. Additional duties may include scheduling meetings, maintaining calendars, preparing and distributing communications, assisting with event coordination, organizing files and documents, preparing basic reports and spreadsheets, responding to routine inquiries, and completing other clerical and administrative tasks as assigned. This position will work closely with the Access and Pathways team and will report directly to the Director of Access and Pathways.

Salary Details: $20 per hour.

- * High School diploma or equivalent, and/or up to 4 years of relevant office, clerical, bookkeeping, library assistant or related experience depending on the duties to be performed.
- * An equivalent combination of education and/or experience may be substituted for the experience requirement.
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience; plus a minimum of three years of relevant experience in higher education or related context. Must have strong organizational skills, communication skills (written and verbal) as well as the ability to manage day-to-day activities along with long-term projects. Excellent work ethic and passion to learn plus ability to prioritize and multi-task are a must.
