Dental Assistant

GPS Dental is seeking amazing, confident, and experienced people to join our growing team. But most importantly, we’re looking for someone positive to become part of our dental community. As a part of our start-up, they’ll be plenty of opportunities for growth. This will be initially a part-time position that will lead to full-time after the first few months.

Schedule:

• Monday: 9AM – 5PM
• Wednesday: 9AM – 5PM
• Saturday: 8AM – 2PM (Alternate weekends)

Job Responsibilities:

• Meet and greet patients with a smile
• Support dentists and hygienists in charting and treatment planning
• Chairside assisting during dental and surgical procedures
• Taking radiographs and intraoral photos
• Maintain operatory stocking and cleanliness
• Provide a high standard of sterilization infection control
• Maintain accurate patient records.

Job Requirements:

• Strong communication skills
• N.J. X-ray license required
• CPR certification required
• CDA/RDA certification strongly preferred
• Open Dental experience preferred, but not required
• Minimum of 1 year dental assisting experience preferred

Pay: $22.00 - $28.00 per hour

Expected hours: 15 – 20 per week
