Requisition Number Position Goals

Job Description

1. Advise CTE Nursing Program students in academic career choices and assist students with course registration issues.

2. Attend monthly department meetings.

3. Maintain membership in all CTE Advisory Committees.

4. Provide intrusive advisement to CTE Nursing Program students in open office hours.

5. Tutor CTE Nursing Program students throughout the academic year.

6. Track student progress for assessing outcomes from intensive interventions.

7. Provide an annual report to the Dean regarding assessment results.

8. Demonstrate and promote a culture of diversity, equity and inclusion.

9. Ability to work directly with people from diverse racial, ethnic and socio-economic backgrounds.

Minimum Qualifications

1. Degree in a related CTE Nursing Program required.

2. Experience in teaching, coaching, tutoring or mentoring preferred.

3. Must have at least three years of nursing experience.
