Elementary Teacher - K-3rd Grade

K-2 teachers at Mastery Schools teach kindergarten through second grade in self‑contained classrooms, providing daily literacy instruction in small groups and whole‑class settings, and teaching 90 minutes of math using the Eureka Math curriculum. The role also includes supporting students’ social‑emotional development, science/social studies learning, data‑driven instruction, and family engagement.

• Drive student achievement and set high expectations for all students.
• Commit to professional growth, self‑reflection, receptiveness to feedback, and continuous improvement.
• Implement rigorous and appropriate lesson plans, assignments, and assessments in cooperation with school leadership and curricular resources.
• Work closely with school leaders to analyze student assessment data, measure progress, and use data to inform instruction.
• Collaborate in grade‑level teams to discuss student work, share best practices, and plan events for joy and humor, ensuring mastery of standards.
• Engage families in their children’s education by building relationships and maintaining regular communication.
• Demonstrate genuine interest, belief, and care for students’ personal and academic success.
• Respond positively and effectively to challenges with a solutions‑oriented resilience.

• Bachelor’s degree required with a record of personal, professional, or academic achievement.
• Teacher certification, completed or in process.
• Demonstrated expertise in the subject area.
• Outstanding instructional skills driven by data and delivered through rigorous and engaging strategies.

• Ability to perform essential duties, travel to network campuses, maneuver in office spaces, stand, walk, sit for long periods, speak loudly and clearly, see and hear both near and far, stoop, kneel, reach, manipulate fine instruments, use computer and other equipment, and sit for up to two hours at a time to use a computer monitor.

• This role is eligible for a $5,000 bonus and up to $5,000 for relocation expenses.
• New teachers start at $60,900, with Mastery offering up to $83,500 based on experience and education.
• Salaries range from $60,900 to $112,700, with growth opportunities as your career progresses.
