Program Coordinator I
Rutgers University–Camden's Division Impact & Community Engagement (DICE) is seeking a Program Coordinator I to support the coordination, daily operations, and implementation of the Rutgers IGNITE 21st Century Community Learning Center (CCLC) after school and summer programs, including the Children's Defense Fund Freedom School. Reporting to the Senior Program Administrator and Director of Education Partnerships, this position supports programs serving more than 200 students during the school year and up to 100 students during the summer.
The Program Coordinator I will help ensure program quality, safety, and alignment with 21stCCLC guidelines by overseeing daily site operations, serving as a school-site liaison, supervising staff and volunteers, coordinating recruitment, onboarding, scheduling, training, payroll, parent/family events, and school-community initiatives. The Program Coordinator I will also support data management, compliance, reporting, program development, and quality improvement efforts. Responsibilities include maintaining attendance records, student data, academic records, surveys, compliance documentation, licensing materials, and student files;
supporting reporting through EZ Reports, EWEG, NJCCIS, ETRS, and 21
APR; assisting with compliance reviews, licensing inspections, monitoring visits, quarterly reporting, and grant continuation documentation; and supporting staff professional development, trainings, academic alignment, student worker observations, and coaching. This is a grant funded position contingent upon the availability of funds to support it.

- Starting salary will be commensurate with qualifications and experience, within university policy and salary schedules, as well as departmental budgets.

- Consistent with the current application of Rutgers Policy 60.3.22, this position may be eligible for a hybrid work arrangement. The flexible work arrangements outlined in Rutgers Policy 60.3.22 are part of a pilot program that is effective September 1, 2022 through August 31, 2024. Therefore, there is no guarantee that this flexible work arrangement will continue beyond that date. Flexible work arrangements are not permanent, are subject to change or cancellation and contingent on the employee receiving approval in the Flex Work@RU Application System.

Qualifications
Minimum Education and Experience
- Bachelor's degree and/or equivalent combination of education and experience in education, youth development, sociology, social work, public policy, or a related field. Minimum 2 years of experience in youth programming, K–12 education, or community organizations. Supervisory experience (student staff, volunteers, or part-time employees). Strong organizational, communication, and data-management skills. Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment. Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Google Workspace, Canva, and experience with data reporting systems.
