OpportunityAs a Math Teacher at Mastery, you will support students from kindergarten through 12th grade with the open‑source Eureka Math Curriculum and the Agile Mind core program. You will set high expectations and provide strong support so all students can succeed.
Responsibilities- Drive student achievement and set high expectations for all students.
- Commit to professional growth, self‑reflection, receptiveness to feedback, and a continuous improvement mindset.
- Implement rigorous lesson plans, assignments, and assessments in collaboration with school leadership and central‑office resources.
- Analyze student assessment data with school leaders to measure progress and inform instruction.
- Collaborate in grade‑level teams to discuss student work, share best practices, plan reflective events, and ensure mastery of standards.
- Engage families by building relationships and maintaining regular communication.
- Demonstrate genuine interest, belief, and care for students’ personal and academic success.
- Respond positively and effectively to challenges with a solutions‑oriented resiliency.
- Work physically to the extent required, including travel to campus sites and routine classroom tasks.
- Bachelor’s degree with a record of academic, professional, or personal achievement.
- Teacher certification completed or in process.
- Demonstrated expertise in mathematics.
- Outstanding instructional skills driven by data and delivered through rigorous, engaging strategies.
- Ability to perform essential duties such as traveling, standing, walking, typing, communicating, and using classroom technology.
New teachers start at $60,900, with potential to earn up to $83,500 based on experience and education. Salaries range from $60,900 to $112,700, with growth opportunities as your career progresses.
Eligible for a $5,000 bonus and up to $5,000 for relocation expenses.
