Elementary ESL Teacher

The Opportunity

We are hiring ESL teachers for our Multilingual Programs, which integrate native language skills with social and instructional language across all core subjects. ESL teachers work with learners at all proficiency levels to build academic language, foster access to the curriculum, and bridge prior learning into English‑instructed classrooms. Teachers are trusted to make decisions and are held accountable for critical results within a positive, student‑centered culture.

• Commit to ongoing professional development in a spirit of continuous improvement.
• Develop and implement rigorous lesson plans, assignments, and assessments in cooperation with school-based leadership and Central Office resources.
• Work closely with school leaders to analyze student assessment data, measure progress, and use data to inform instruction.
• Collaborate in grade‑level teams to discuss student work, share best practices, plan community‑engaging events, and ensure mastery of standards.
• Engage families in their children’s education by building relationships and maintaining regular communication.
• Demonstrate genuine interest, belief, and care for students’ personal and academic success.
• Commit to professional growth, self‑reflection, receptiveness to feedback, and a desire to continuously improve.

• Bachelor’s degree required.
• Teacher certification completed or in process.
• Demonstrated expertise in the subject area.
• Experience working with underserved communities.

• Ability to perform essential duties, including traveling to network campuses, standing, walking, sitting for long periods, speaking loudly and clearly, seeing and hearing at varying distances, stooping, kneeling, reaching file cabinets, using computer, chalkboard, dry‑erase, projectors, filing, faxing, scanning, typing, making phone calls, and sitting up to two hours at a computer monitor.

• Role is eligible for a $5,000 bonus and up to $5,000 for relocation expenses.
• New teachers start at $60,000; salaries range from $60,000 to $111,000 based on experience and education, with growth opportunities as career progresses.
