Adult EdPet Grooming Instructor Position Summary

Burlington County Institute of Technology Adult Education is seeking a qualified candidate to join our team as an hourly, part-time evening Pet Grooming Instructor. The ideal candidate will have hands‑on professional grooming experience and a strong passion for sharing technical expertise and industry best practices. The instructor must be able to effectively guide adult learners through foundational and advanced pet grooming techniques, promoting animal safety and proper tool handling.

Strong oral and written communication skills are essential.

• Minimum 4 years of professional experience in the pet grooming field.
• Demonstrated expertise in pet grooming techniques, coat preparation, styling, and animal handling/safety protocols.
• Ability to work effectively with adult learners and share practical industry knowledge.
• Strong oral and written communication skills.

• Hourly Rate: $40.30

• Must pass a criminal history background check.
• Proof of U.S. citizenship or legal resident alien status required.
• Must establish NJ residency within one year of hire.
• Drug testing required.
