Job Overview
Chemical Engineer – Lockheed Martin, Camden, Arkansas. Responsible for implementing and optimizing chemical processes such as painting, coating, bonding, sealing, and corrosion mitigation to ensure product quality and integrity.
Responsibilities- Develop and optimize chemical processes, documenting current and new processes.
- Analyze root causes and implement corrective actions.
- Apply coating processes, engineering materials, and general manufacturing processes.
- Interpret engineering drawings and apply corrosion mitigation methods.
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited college in chemical engineering or a related discipline.
- Knowledge of coating processes, engineering materials, general manufacturing processes, and corrosion mitigation methods.
- Ability to interpret engineering drawings.
- Strong oral and written communication skills.
- Experience in a production environment.
- U.S. citizenship and eligibility to obtain a Secret clearance.
- Knowledge of CARC coating systems and thermal protective coating systems.
- Experience working in a team environment.
- Knowledge of SAP or other ERP processes.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite.
Position requires a Secret clearance. U.S. citizenship is required.
Location and Work EnvironmentCamden, Arkansas. Onsite full‑time. 4×10 hour day, three days off per week.
