Sr. FPGA Design Engineer

Client is seeking a Sr. FPGA Design Engineer to join the IMS – MAR segment supporting critical defense programs. The candidate will design, develop, and implement FPGA-based systems using VHDL and Xilinx technologies. This is a high-impact, fast-paced role requiring technical precision and security clearance.

Design and implement FPGA solutions using VHDL and Xilinx Vivado

Collaborate on systems architecture and requirements development

Utilize revision control and adhere to Earned Value Management (EVM) processes

Work on-site in an office-based engineering environment

3–5+ years of FPGA development experience

Proficiency in VHDL and Xilinx FPGAs (Vivado)

Experience with version control systems

Familiarity with Earned Value Management (EVM)

Strong communication and presentation skills

C++ (OOP), High-Level Synthesis (Vivado HLX/Mentor Catapult)

Protocol experience (Ethernet, TCP/IP, PCIe, NVMe, USB)

Experience with Xilinx SoC SDKs and Peta Linux OS

Bachelor's, Master's, or PhD in Electrical/Electronics/Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or related STEM field
