One of are client is looking for a motivated Mechanical Engineer to join our engineering team and support the design, development, testing, and improvement of mechanical systems and components. This opportunity is well suited for an early-career engineer looking to build hands-on engineering experience, as well as a mid-level professional ready to take on greater technical responsibility.
You will work closely with engineering, manufacturing, quality, and project teams to develop practical, reliable, and cost-effective solutions.
Key Responsibilities- Design and develop mechanical components, assemblies, and systems.
- Create and review 2D drawings, 3D models, specifications, and engineering documentation.
- Perform engineering calculations, tolerance analysis, and basic mechanical analysis.
- Support prototype development, testing, validation, and troubleshooting.
- Collaborate with manufacturing and suppliers to resolve design and production issues.
- Participate in design reviews, root-cause analysis, and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Ensure designs meet applicable engineering standards and customer requirements.
- Prepare technical reports, test documentation, and project updates.
- Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering or a closely related engineering discipline.
- 0–5 years of mechanical engineering experience through internships, co-ops, academic projects, or professional employment.
- Knowledge of mechanical design principles, materials, manufacturing processes, and engineering fundamentals.
- Experience with CAD software such as Solid Works, AutoCAD, Creo, CATIA, or Inventor
. - Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and technical specifications.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Must be legally authorized to work in the United States.
- Experience with GD&T and tolerance stack-up.
- Familiarity with FEA, thermal analysis, or other engineering simulation tools.
- Experience with prototyping, testing, and failure/root-cause analysis.
- Knowledge of manufacturing processes such as machining, sheet metal, welding, injection molding, or 3D printing.
