Senior Manager, Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A)
We are expanding our leadership team and are seeking a Senior Manager, FP&A to partner directly with executive leadership and operations to drive financial strategy, performance metrics, and forecasting across business programs.
This is a high-impact leadership role responsible for financial planning, P&L performance, team development, and business decision support.
Position OverviewThe Senior Manager, FP&A will lead the finance function for a business segment and serve as a strategic partner to operations leadership. This role oversees forecasting, financial analysis, budgeting, reporting, and performance improvement initiatives.
You will work cross-functionally with Operations, Program Management, Engineering, and Executive Leadership to improve operating income, cash flow, and organizational efficiency.

- Partner with senior leadership to support P&L ownership
, revenue growth, operating income, and cash flow performance - Provide strategic financial guidance and business recommendations to executive leadership
- Develop and present financial reports for:
- Annual Operating Plan (AOP)
- Monthly Financial Reviews (MFR)
- Strategic Planning initiatives
- Forecast revenue, expenses, margins, and financial performance drivers
- Lead financial planning & analysis (FP&A) and budgeting activities
- Establish and track Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
- Analyze program performance, pricing risk, and financial opportunities
- Collaborate with proposal and operations teams on pricing and cost analysis
- Drive process improvements and operational efficiency initiatives
- Recruit, train, and develop financial analysts and team members
- Implement financial policies, procedures, and internal controls
- Provide weekly reporting on performance metrics and forecasts
- Support cross-department collaboration with operations, engineering, and program management
- Build a culture of accountability, engagement, and continuous improvement
- Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or related field
- 9+ years of finance, FP&A, or program finance experience
- 3+ years of leadership or people management experience
- Experience managing budgets, forecasting, and financial reporting
- Strong P&L management and financial modeling skills
- Advanced Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint skills
- Excellent communication and executive presentation abilities
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills
- Experience with Earned Value Management (EVM)
- Experience in multi-location operations, manufacturing, services, or program-based business
- SAP or ERP financial system experience
- Knowledge of revenue recognition (ASC 606)
- MBA or advanced degree
- Experience supporting operations or program management teams
