Group FP&A Manager – Cera Care
Location:
Hybrid – London (Camden HQ, 2 days per week). Full‑time, permanent. Industry: Banking and finance. Address:
London NW1, UK.
We are appointing a Group FP&A Manager into the Group Finance team. This is a group‑level role focused on the financial machinery that ties the whole business together: group planning and consolidation, long‑range and cash‑flow modelling, covenant compliance and the month‑end and board reporting the CFO and the Board rely on. The role spans commercial decision support and the modelling/reporting that underpin it.
Key ResponsibilitiesTranslate group performance and forecasts into clear commercial insight and actionable recommendations for the CFO, the Board and senior management. Interpret the commercial and contractual constructs behind the financials and explain their implications. Act as a credible thought partner to senior decision‑makers. Consolidate operational budgets into a coherent group view. Own the group budget and reforecast build. Maintain a clean line of sight from operational performance to statutory reporting.
Build and maintain an integrated 3‑year and 5‑year business plan model. Build and maintain mid‑ and long‑term cash‑flow forecasts. Design models to be modular and dynamic. Build and maintain covenant compliance models and run scenario and sensitivity analysis. Prepare and draft group finance decks and quarterly board reporting pack. Lead a refresh of the reporting suite. Partner with the Management Accounts team.
Act as a key point of contact for investor and lender information requests. Support transaction and M&A activity. Respond to ad‑hoc modelling and analysis requests. Work directly with the CFO and senior stakeholders. Build strong working relationships across Group Finance, Management Accounts and operational finance.
- Big 4 trained and qualified (ACA or equivalent), ideally with a corporate finance, transaction services or deals background.
- Strong commercial judgement – able to move beyond the numbers to interpret commercial constructs and make clear recommendations.
- Working command of the commercial and legal frameworks finance operates within – facility agreements, covenants and contracts.
- Excellent financial modelling skills – best‑in‑class integrated three‑statement, cash‑flow and covenant modelling.
- Comfortable working autonomously in a senior, individual‑contributor role – owning output end‑to‑end and applying disciplined self‑review.
- Bright, confident and credible with senior stakeholders, able to operate calmly under deadlines.
- Experience in an acquisitive, multi‑entity and/or investor‑backed group is a strong advantage.
- Familiarity with EPM / consolidation and planning tools.
- Practical fluency with AI tools (Claude in particular) is a distinct advantage.
- Awareness of corporate finance and capital structure – a plus, but not core.
A senior, high‑visibility role in Group Finance at a business scaling rapidly with a clear strategic agenda. Direct exposure to the CFO, the Board and external investors, with genuine ownership of the group’s core models and reporting. The opportunity to shape how the group plans, models and reports as it continues to grow by acquisition. A values‑driven organisation focused on the quality of care we deliver.
Competitive senior package and clear scope for professional development.
