Chief Financial Officer

We are seeking a strategic and hands-on financial leader to oversee the company’s financial operations, cash flow, budgeting, debt management, and financial reporting within a private company environment. The ideal candidate will bring at least 5 years of experience working with private equity-backed organizations and directly managing lender relationships
, with additional experience strongly preferred. Experience with in consumer products—particularly apparel, footwear, accessories, or performance wear is highly desirable, although candidates from closely related industries will be considered. This leader will play a critical role in navigating the financial complexities of private equity ownership and lender requirements while identifying opportunities to improve efficiency, reduce costs, strengthen financial performance, and support the company’s continued growth across its Amazon, B2C, and specialty retail channels.

• Oversee the company’s overall financial operations, including budgeting, forecasting, cash flow management, financial reporting, and financial planning.
• Serve as a key financial partner to private equity ownership, providing accurate, timely, and insightful financial reporting and analysis.
• Manage and maintain strong relationships with lenders and financial institutions.
• Oversee debt structures, covenant compliance, lender reporting, borrowing requirements, and other financing obligations.
• Navigate the financial requirements and complexities associated with private equity ownership and lender involvement.
• Develop and manage cash flow strategies to ensure appropriate liquidity and support business growth.
• Lead annual budgeting, forecasting, financial modeling, and ongoing performance analysis.
• Identify opportunities for cost reduction, operational efficiency, and improved financial performance.
• Establish and monitor financial KPIs and provide leadership with actionable insights into company performance.
• Partner with executive leadership and operational teams to evaluate financial implications of business decisions and strategic initiatives.
• Strengthen financial processes, controls, reporting capabilities, and overall organizational efficiency.
• Support strategic planning and decision-making through detailed financial analysis and scenario modeling.
• Oversee preparation of financial statements, management reporting, and other required financial information.
• Help ensure compliance with lender, ownership, banking, and other financial requirements.
• Provide financial leadership across a business serving Amazon, direct-to-consumer, and specialty retail customers.

• Minimum 5 years of experience working with private equity-backed organizations
  , with more extensive PE experience strongly preferred.
• Minimum 5 years of direct experience managing private equity and lender relationships
  , including lender reporting, debt structures, and financial compliance.
• Proven experience navigating the financial requirements, reporting expectations, and complexities associated with private equity ownership.
• Deep understanding of debt management, lender relationships, financial covenants, and financing requirements.
• Strong experience overseeing company-wide financial operations, including cash flow, budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting.
• Demonstrated success identifying and implementing cost savings, efficiency improvements, and financial optimization initiatives

• Experience in consumer products is highly preferred, particularly apparel, footwear, accessories, performance wear, or related categories

• Experience supporting businesses with a combination of Amazon, B2C/e-commerce, and specialty retail channels is highly desirable.
• Strong strategic and analytical capabilities with the ability to translate financial information into actionable business recommendations.
• Excellent communication and relationship-management skills, with the ability to effectively partner with private equity sponsors, lenders, executive leadership, and operational teams.
• Hands-on, commercially minded leadership style with the ability to balance strategic financial leadership with day-to-day financial oversight.
