REG CARDIAC SONOGRAPHER-ECHOCARDIOGRAPHY Overview

Responsibilities- Obtain 2D and 3D echocardiograms with color and spectral Doppler at the patient's bedside and in the echo lab.
- Perform stress echocardiograms and dobutamine stress echocardiograms as requested, and assist cardiologists with TEE and intracardiac echo in the cardiac cath lab.
- Rotate on-call schedule and arrive within 45 minutes of call.
- Preferably 3-5 years experience in echo including 2D Doppler, Color Doppler and TEE.
- RDCS or RCIS; filing, data entry into the computer, answering phones and giving reports to physicians.
- Education:
Some higher education other than high school preferred. - License/Certification:
Must obtain ARDMS or CCI certifications for Adult Echocardiography as required by each entity within 6 months of employment. - Special Requirements:
Full-time, 40 hours a week.
